Choosing the right KDM post completes a unified flow of natural timber product and adds longevity to your project. KDM's posts are produced from pine only, kiln dried to below 26% moisture content, planed and pressure treated to Use Class 4 to enhance the longevity of the product. All KDM posts have a desired service life of 15 years and are labelled for traceability.
Our ribbed posts are ideally suited to the following panels and corresponding gates: OLT, ALT, AH, HLT, VA and SH.
Our smooth planed posts, are ideally suited to the following panels and corresponding gates: SDS, T&G, SLA, OL, PW and TGLT, also all of our planed border and picket products, decorative lattice ranges and decking.
All Ribbed & Smooth Planed posts treated to Use Class 4 are individually labelled and carry a 15 year warranty. To comply with the warranty terms and conditions all posts must be annually retreated at ground level to maintain the product and protect the timber against fungal and insect attack.
